Take some time to educate yourself and decide if this is something that you want to care about. Don’t assume anything, put yourself in their position and think about whether or not you would want people to help you if you felt/were helpless. I have heard for years and years about the regime in Uganda and the invisible children, I thought that there was nothing that could be done and have basically ignored everything I have heard. But, I didn’t know who Joseph Kony was. Putting a single face on these gravely evil and persisting events makes justice seem more attainable.

This blows my mind. If like 30,000 people gave a fuck that my kid got a mohawk, I can’t imagine how many people would reblog or call the news if she was kidnapped and used as a sex slave. I can’t understand why people aren’t freaking out about this. Why is this is the first time I’m hearing this dude’s name? Please take the time to watch this and do what you can. This shit is not ok.

This is incredible. Please watch, please reblog. This is incredibly important.

This is incredibly and unbelievably horrific. Joseph Kony is a monster. Everyone please take 1/2 an hour out of your day and watch this video.

TOMMY TON: ONE EYE OPEN

One of the reasons I love Tommy Ton so much is because you know almost instantly when a photograph is the work of his. He has a unique perspective and often likes to focus on the detail versus the complete ensemble. Life + Times has a great short about Tommy’s point of view on street style and how he approaches his craft. Check it out above

On why he’ll take your picture: “What really stands out to me is an individual with a sense of confidence and attitude, and it doesn’t matter whether or not you are wearing something that is designer or something that is high street. I think its how you wear it.”
